1st Nomination

COMPETITION PROGRAM

The first tour:

1.W. Mozart. An aria from an opera, cantata, oratorio or a concert aria.

2.A romance from Zara Dolukhanova’s repertoire (from the recommended list).

3.A folk song of the country a competitor represents.

The second tour (to 25 min):

1. The romance of one of the following Russian composers: Varlamov, Alyabyev, Gurilev, Bulakhov, Verstovsky, Dubyuk.

2. A romance from Zara Dolukhanova’s repertoire (from the recommended list) 

3. A vocal cycle (a part of cycle) or romances within the same opus of one of the following composers: J. Brahms, R.Wagner, H. Wolff, G. Mahler, F. Mendelssohn, R. Strauss, F.Schubert, R. Schumann (to 15 min.).

The third tour:

1. A romance of French composer (at a competitor’s choice) 

2. A romance (a song) of Italian composer.

3. A romance of composer of the second half of the XX and XXI centuries of the country a competitor represents.

Notes:

- All works must be performed from memory.

- For the first and second nomination (the third and fourth age groups) – works must be surely performed in original language.

- No piece may appear twice in the contestant’s repertoire.

- Amendments to the repertoire are not allowed
